The Willi Fox – Influenza A+B Rapid Test is a one-step visual immunoassay for the rapid qualitative detection of influenza antigens of subtypes A and B in human nasal swabs. This test serves as an aid in the differential diagnosis of an influenza A/B infection and is intended for professional use in laboratories and medical practices. The test provides a visually readable result within 15 minutes. The test is not intended for the detection of influenza C virus antigens. Negative results do not always rule out influenza A or B virus infections and should be confirmed by cell culture or molecular assay if infection is suspected.
