A small, discreet sensor, worn on the back of the upper arm for up to 14 days, continuously measures the glucose concentration in the body's tissue fluid around the clock. The sensor updates the glucose value to the minute and stores it at 15-minute intervals over a period of up to eight hours. It is waterproof and can also be worn when showering, swimming or exercising.

Application

To test the glucose level, the reader is held against the sensor. With each scan, the device displays the current glucose value, the glucose data for the last 8 hours and a trend arrow indicating the direction in which the glucose value is moving.
