The Ambu SPUR II disposable resuscitator is a manual resuscitator for single patient use. It features the single-membrane patient valve, which offers reliable functionality and has proven itself in over three years rzof use in hospital and emergency services. The self-expanding bag is made of thin SEBS material and has a SafeGrip™ surface for besseased handling. The SPUR II is available in all sizes.

Reliable ventilation

The integrated single-diaphragm patient valve ensures reliable functionality that has been proven over more than 30 years of clinical use. The operation of this valve system can be viewed during use and serves as visual feedback for the airflow. The self-filling bag is made of thin SEBS material. In addition, the SPUR II can deliver up to 100% FiO2 when connected to an oxygen source.

Patient safety

All sizes of the SPUR II are equipped with a pressure relief valve. This is designed to prevent the release of excessive pressure which can cause barotrauma. The pressure relief valve can be deactivated by a lever if necessary.

Ergonomics and storage

The SPUR II has a SafeGrip™ surface. bessThis textured surface on the self-expanding bag improves grip and handling during ventilation, and the sizes for adults and children also have a handle that can provide additional support. A swivel joint between the valve and mask allows the bag to rotate freely without having to remove the mask from the patient. Finally, the adult and pediatric sizes can also be compressed for space-saving storage.

Accessories and additional functions

The SPUR II is compatible with both the Ambu disposable pressure gauge and the Ambu disposable PEEP valves, without the need for an additional adapter. A splash guard is also provided to deflect exhaled gases and liquids away from the user.
