Biatain Alginate Ag can be used on all moderately to heavily exuding wounds of partial to full thickness, particularly leg ulcers, decubitus ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, split skin removal sites, traumatic wounds and second degree burns. Biatain Alginate Ag can be used on infected wounds and wounds at risk of infection.

Biatain Alginate Ag is an alginate dressing made from calcium alginate, carboxylmethylcellulose (CMC) and a silver ion complex. Biatain Alginate Ag should not be used on dry or lightly exuding wounds or to stop severe bleeding
