Contopharma Rinse S is a polyfunctional rinsing and storage solution for rigid gas permeable contact lenses. It keeps the lens in a hydrated, isotonic state and inhibits the growth of contaminating microorganisms, without accumulation of the mucosa-tolerant preservative on the surface of the con- tact lenses. A special mixture of combined polymers ("antisoiling agent") hydrophilizes the contact lens to optimize wearing comfort, facilitates the cleaning process ("antisoiling effect") and largely prevents accumulation of contaminants, w obei secondary immune reactions (eye redness, GPC, etc.) are minimized.
