Cuticell Contact is a sterile primary dressing for weakly to heavily exuding wounds, which adheres to the wound environment but not to the moist wound (Siltec technology).

While wound exudate can pass unhindered through the silicone-coated overlay, ingrowth of the absorbent secondary dressing into the wound is simultaneously prevented. In this way, the secondary dressing can be renewed at any time without traumatizing the wound. The result is an undisturbed healing process and a high level of safety in therapy.

Cuticell Contact consists of a thin, elastic polyurethane film coated on one side with soft silicone.

Cuticell Contact is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, such as:

• Ulcus cruris, decubitus ulcer
• Surgical wounds
• Blisters
• 1st and 2nd degree burns
• Split skin wounds
• Cuts, abrasions and skin tears

Cuticell Contact can be used as a wound contact layer in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Cuticell Contact can be combined with antiseptics.
