As a component of cartilage, chondroitin sulphate supports the structure and mobility of joints. Chitosan protects chondroitin sulphate from enzymatic degradation. The antioxidant properties of selenomethionine help to slow down the ageing process of the joints. Together, these ingredients support mobility.

Fortiflex is a combination of chondroitin sulphate and Chitosan. Both substances are of natural origin and are available in a particularly pure form (95%) thanks to a special manufacturing process. Chondroitin sulphate is the most important proteoglycan that is essential for the structure and elasticity of joint cartilage.

Chitosan, of marine origin, is a glucosamine polymer and protects the chondroitin sulphate from destruction by digestive enzymes.

The combination of both active ingredients increases the absorption rate and effect. This synergy leads to the maintenance or restoration of the elasticity of the joint cartilage. For this reason, Fortiflex supports cartilage function in a physiological way and thus promotes long-term m obility.

Application:

As with all DMOA (Disease Modifying Osteoarthritis Agent) preparations, the effect is somewhat delayed (after a maximum of 2 to 3 weeks), but this is compensated for by an approx. 2-month after-effect of the treatment beyond the time of the last administration ("carry over" effect).

Dosage instructions, method and duration of use:

For dogs from 15 to 25 kg body weight: 1 tablet per day over a period of 1 to 2 months, repeatable as required.
