Always carry out a skin test first to check for hypersensitivity to a product. Mix a small amount of Farbe with the developer and rub a small area behind the ear or in the elbow with the Farbe. Leave this for a while. S obald any reactions such as itching, swelling, redness or rashes occur, the use of this product should be avoided. This test can also be done with vegetable dye.

Do a test on a strand of hair on the underside of the hair to see ob the Farbe actually turns out as stated on the packaging. The final result may depend on your original hair color and the texture of the hair. Herbatint can be safely applied to previously colored hair (except henna). It may be that the Facolor differs slightly from the steel. This is caused by the chemical pigments left behind by the previous product.

• Only dye clean hair. Hair that has not been washed out well can affect the resulting Facolor.
• Choose a Farbe that is up to 2 to 3 Farbtöne lighter than your natural hair color.
• If necessary, rub Royal Cream around the hairline and always wear rubber gloves to avoid discoloration of the skin.

Mix the two bottles. For short hair, half of both bottles is sufficient. You can save the Farbe and developer you have for another coloring session. Close the bottles tightly. You can no longer store Farb and fixative that have already been mixed.

For hair that has already been colored, apply the product only to the growth and leave to work for 30 minutes. Then apply to the entire hair and leave on for a further 10 minutes. For untreated hair, apply the full amount of product to the entire hair and leave on for 40 minutes.

Rinse with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.

Can hair be dyed after treatment with henna?

Treatment with henna leads to the formation of an impenetrable coating around the hair. This makes it impossible to say what will happen to the hair when it is dyed. No advice or guarantee can be given for this.

Can I use Herbatint during pregnancy?

It is not recommended to use permanent hair coloring during pregnancy. However, there are fewer risks with Herbatint, particularly due to the absence of ammonia.

I am allergic to ammonia. Can I use Herbatint?

Research has shown that 85% of people who had an allergic reaction to ammonia in other hair dyes did not suffer with Herbatint. However, it is recommended to do an allergy test first.

Can I use Herbatint on my beard?

It is not recommended to use Herbatint on the face. Never use Herbatint around the eyes, not for eyelashes and eyebrows.
