Adapt paste is used to fill peristomal irregularities to create a flatter surface and prevent substances from getting under the substrate that can cause leaks.

Properties

Can be used to level and seal irregularities in the skin giving rise to the stoma. This is to create a flat surface for attaching the ostomy appliance and to prevent infiltration by exudates.

Application

Each time you change your equipment, apply the paste:

• Wet your finger with water to help spread the coating.
• Take a sprayer or, if necessary, more.
• Surround the stoma with the paste in a thin layer.
• Wait a moment.
• Place your accessories as usual.

Notes

Used for sealing, not as an adhesive, contains alcohol.
