Application:

• Cut open the top of the bag (or bags) widthways and pour the contents into a bowl with 1 liter of boiling water. Mix well until everything is completely dissolved. Pour the contents of this bowl into a heat-resistant container and add 7 to 10 liters of cold water.
• Add 250 ml of white vinegar, regardless of the number of sachets.
• Wet the textiles with cold water and loosely immerse them in the dye bath.
• Heat slowly to boiling point, stirring constantly, and let simmer for 20 minutes. Switch off the stove.
• While the dye bath is slowly cooling down, stir from time to time until the water is lukewarm (around 30 ° C).
• Rinse the textiles with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
• Put 6 tablespoons of white vinegar in the last rinse (for wool and silk).
• Carefully wring the wool and silk in a cloth.
• Let dry in the shade. Let the wool dry flat.
• Clean the container with cleaning agent, if necessary diluted bleach

TIP:

Wool or silk do not shrink at high temperatures, but rather in the event of thermal shock (very quick change from cold to hot water or vice versa)!
