l-mesitran Buy Wound Ointment (20g)

L-Mesitran - Hydro Active antibacterial ointment , wound cleansing, optimizes wound healing. L- Mesitran is an ointment consisting of: Honey, lanolin, sunflower oil, cod liver oil, calendula officinalis, aloe barbadensis, vitamins C and E and zinc oxide. When the ointment comes into contact with the wound, the wound exudate will be taken to the surrounding tissues. This allows healing of the moist wound environment. Wound healing is stimulated, the ointment promotes the dissolution of necrosis (autolysis) and facilitates the migration of epithelial cells.

Because of the strong osmotic effect, L- Mesitran has an antimicr obial effect. The ointment should be gradually thin and can be easily removed with a wound cleanser. L- Mesitran can be covered with most covering wound dressings. The ointment may contain sugar crystals, but this does not affect the effectiveness and/or application of the ointment. Due to the use of natural products, each ointment may have a slightly different Farbe (white -yellow- brown).

Application

• Open the lid, turn it over and disinfect the sides and seal with a disinfectant alcohol.
• Push the tip of the screw in the seal.
• Squeeze the required amount of ointment from the tube. Make sure that the tube does not touch the wound.
• Rub the ointment into the wound with a (sterile) spatula.
• Use a suitable cover dressing over the ointment.
• Replace the ointment s obald the ointment is dissolved into the wound, this depends on the amount of wound fluid the wound produces (average 24 to 48 hours).

Indication

Chronic wounds - decubitus (stage I - IV), leg ulcers, oncological wounds (deodorizing and debridement). Contaminated acute wounds - surgical wounds (post-operative wounds), trauma wounds (abrasions, cuts), minor burns and laser wounds (1st and 2nd degree).
