The thin foam dressing is soft and conformable, allowing it to be used pr oblemlessly on hard to dress areas of the body. It can also be easily cut to the desired size. It features Safetac - the original contact layer with silicone adhesion that minimizes pain during dressing changes. The dressing sits gently on the skin without sticking to the moist wound - so you can easily remove it without damaging the skin. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients. It also seals the wound edges to protect the skin from damaging leakage and maceration. Clinical trials have proven that Mepilex Lite minimizes skin reactions resulting from radiation treatment.
