This raw cane sugar is obtained from sugar cane on the island of La Réunion. The sugar cane is squeezed and provides the sweet sugar cane juice from which this raw cane sugar is extracted. This product contains up to about 1% sugar cane molasses with valuable minerals and is therefore brownish in the Farbe and has a pleasant slightly caramel flavor.
