PAWS&PATCH's pure elm bark powder is a natural product obtained from the inner bark of the American red elm tree. Elm bark is rich in mucilage, tannins, bitter substances, fatty acids and minerals. The mucilage of the elm bark is a gentle care for the stomach and intestinal mucous membranes.

Feeding recommendation:

The powder is not fed directly. A syrup is made with the red elm bark powder. This syrup is administered several times a day before feeding. For the syrup, the powder is dosed according to the instructions on the packet and brought to the boil with water. Boiling high-quality elm bark powder produces a thick syrup. This syrup is administered directly after cooling.

PREPARING THE SYRUP

Pour the powder and water into a small steel pot and stir well. Simmer for approx. 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool and divide into 2 portions (morning & evening).

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION PER ANIMAL PER DAY

Pour the syrup onto a small plate and lick it off. Alternatively, pour directly into the animal's mouth. Administer in the morning and evening 15 - 30 minutes before feeding. Do not mix with food. When feeding for the first time, start with 50% of the daily dose. The product comes with a measuring spoon (ML), which corresponds to approximately 1 g.
