D-Mannose pure contains D-Mannose. D-Mannose is a naturally occurring sugar (birch, corn, fruits such as cranberry). Due to its special composition, D-mannose is not utilized by the human body and is excreted virtually unchanged via the kidneys into the bladder and urinary tract. Phytopharma D-Mannose pure is a registered medical product. Its efficacy and safety have been tested in accordance with the European Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC).

Mode of action

D-Mannose is competitively bound to mannose-sensitive bacteria in the urinary tract and bladder. As a result, the pili of the bacteria are saturated and are no longer available for binding to epithelial cells of the mucous membrane. D-mannose can therefore impair or prevent the binding of E-coli bacteria to the epithelial cells. Phytopharma D-Mannose Tablets are used to maintain healthy bladder function, to prevent urinary tract and urinary tract complaints and to prevent bladder infections.

How to use

• For prevention: suck 1 tablet twice a day.
• In acute cases Fall: suck up to 6 tablets throughout the day.
