The Assura base plates are available in planar and convex versions, with skin protection for standard wearing time and for extended wearing time. These can be combined with drainage, closed or urostomy bags as well as special supply systems such as night bag, uro mini cap and many more. The wide range consists of base plates with pre-cut or cut-out hole sizes. The ostomy bags are available transparent or skin colored in different sizes.

• The ostomy pouch and base plate are securely snapped together by the coupling mechanism. An audible 'click' signals the secure connection of the ostomy pouch to the base plate.
• As long as the bag and plate are not locked together, the ostomy bag can be rotated to any desired position without having to be removed from the base plate.
• The ostomy bag is removable from the base plate. This allows the pouch to be changed more frequently than the base plate, which adheres to the skin.
