The CONTOUR®XT blood glucose meter is reliable, user-friendly and ready for immediate use. The CONTOUR®NEXT sensors code themselves automatically, of course, just as you are used to with blood glucose meters from the CONTOUR® Familieu. A new feature of the CONTOUR®XT meter is a measuring method known as multi-pulse. The multi-pulse principle means that seven separate measurement pulses within the measurement time result in a highly precise measurement value. In addition, the technology of the sensors has also been improved. The CONTOUR®NEXT sensors are highly stable against environmental influences and thus support even more accurate measurement results.

The CONTOUR®XT blood glucose meter is ready for immediate use without any presettings. The small amount of 0.6 µl of blood is sufficient for a precise and reliable determination of the blood glucose value. After only five seconds, the measurement result is shown on the display in easy-to-read and large numbers. You can then determine your individual therapy measure. Falls the first drop of blood was not large enough, you have the option of refilling a second time with blood on the same sensor within 30 seconds.
