The highly absorbent foam dressing with silicone adhesive edge combines the effective exudate management of Cutimed Siltec with the active ingredient-free bacteria-binding effect of Cutimed Sorbact. Thanks to the purely physical principle of action, Cutimed Sorbact binds and removes bacteria without releasing antimicr obical agents (Sorbact technology): The special Sorbact coating gives the product strong hydroph obe (water-repellent) properties. Many pathogenic bacteria and fungi are hydroph ob ical by nature and therefore bind to the Sorbact fabric. This reduces the bacterial count in the wound with each dressing change and creates optimum conditions for the natural wound healing process.

Dressing change: Should be changed when it is visibly soaked with wound secretions.
