Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S is a superabsorbent wound dressing for the care of heavily to moderately exuding wounds.

The hydrokinetic Fasermatrix with integrated highly water retentive polymers (superabsorbents) creates a moist wound environment, absorbs high amounts of wound exudate and securely traps it in the product core. In this way, the risk of maceration can be reduced and the healing process optimally supported.

Due to the high exudate absorption capacity and the high retention performance of Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S, fewer dressing changes are necessary, so that a healing-promoting wound rest can be offered and the treatment effort can be reduced. In addition, the expansion edge ensures broad-surface wound contact.

Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S consists of a superabsorbent core and is encased in an ultrasonically sealed polypropylene nonwoven. The product is free of pharmacological agents.

Application

• heavily to moderately exuding wounds
• chronic wounds, such as ulcus cruris, diabetic ulcer, decubitus ulcer
• secondary healing wounds of various genesis
• exuding carcinomas and similar exuding wounds
• also applicable under compression therapy

Dressing change: Depending on the patient and the wound situation, but after four days at the latest.
