Cutimed Buy Sorbion Plus 10x10cm 10 (pcs)

Cutimed Sorbion Plus is a primary atraumatic wound contact layer consisting of a polyethylene film. A special three-dimensional structure minimizes the contact area with the wound bed. In this way, adhesion to the wound can be prevented and atraumatic dressing changes can be ensured. The pores of the wound contact layer conduct exudate from the wound bed to the secondary wound dressing. The three-dimensional structure simultaneously reduces backflow of exudate into the wound. The risk of maceration can thus be reduced. Cutimed Sorbion Plus adapts perfectly to the wound obsurface and can be removed without leaving any residue.

Application

Can be used as a wound contact layer with a corresponding secondary wound dressing for:

• exuding wounds such as chronic wounds (e.g. leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, decubitus)
• for acute wounds such as skin abrasions, obsuperficial burns and surgical wounds

Dressing changes: Depending on the wound situation, only the secondary dressing can be changed during dressing changes. Cutimed Sorbion Plus should be changed after 7 days at the latest. However, this maximum retention time depends on the patient and the wound situation.
