Oats originally came from Wildgrasses and became a secondary crop that initially appeared as an undesirable companion to other cereals. Oats have been cultivated mainly in the northern latitudes of Central Europe since 100 BC.

Use

To prepare as a tea, pour boiling hot water over 2-3 teaspoons, allow to cool and strain through a tea strainer.
