GrooVia is a combination of high-quality steviol glycosides and erythritol as a carrier. It is very similar in consistency to sugar, but 4 times as sweet. The steviol glycoside we use is a product made from 60% rebaudioside A with a total purity of >97% steviol glycosides.

We use the carrier erythritol in the production of GrooVia so that you can use a sprinkling sweetener every day that is completely safe for health and suitable for all applications. Unlike many other products on the market, GrooVia can also be used to make perfect pastries, cakes and tarts.

Steviol glycosides have a sweetening power of up to 450 times that of sugar. This makes dosing quite difficult. In addition, due to this high sweetening power for baked goods, the mass of sugar is simply missing. Erythritol is an ideal filler. It is safe for health, calorie-free and approved as a natural food additive in Switzerland and the EU.

Application

GrooVia® is suitable for diabetics. In accordance with the ADI value for steviol glycosides, the following dosage recommendation applies: the maximum daily dose is 1.7g GrooVia per kg body weight. For an adult weighing 75 kg, this would correspond to 127.5 g of GrooVia. 1 teaspoon of GrooVia® (approx. 8g) corresponds to the sweetening power of about 32g of sugar.
