Hydrocoll is a self-adhesive, absorbent hydrocolloid dressing, with a water vapor permeable, yet germ and waterproof polyurethane film. When wound exudate is absorbed, a gel is formed, which provides a moist environment. The gel remains absorbent until the hydrocolloids are saturated; promotes granulation and epithelialization. Hydrocoll® thin is a thin dressing with low absorbency and is preferably used in the epithelialization phase. Sterile and individually packaged.
