Preparation to increase a too low alkali content to the optimal value of 100 ppm.

Description:

• A-Plus increases the acid capacity (carbonate hardness) of swimming pool water.
• Water with a low acid capacity (carbonate hardness) has only a low buffering capacity and can offer little resistance to pH-value changing influences, i.e. the pH-value is unstable and subject to large fluctuations.
• Ideal value: Alkalinity 100 ppm
• Contains sodium hydrogen carbonate.

Causes for an alkalinity level that is too low:

• very soft water (e.g. in Ticino).
• too generous addition of hydrochloric acid or measurement too early after addition of hydrochloric acid.
• Water is older than 1 year.

Dosage:

• To increase the alkali content by 10 ppm, dose 170 g A-PLUS per 10'000 liters
• Sprinkle product directly over the water obsurface. It dissolves very quickly, let circulation run

Calculation example:

• Pool capacity: 50'000 liters, alkali content = 70 ppm
• Calculation: 170 g x 3 (increase by 30 ppm) x 5 (50'000 liters= = 2.55 kg A-PLUS
• Addition: 2.5 kg A PLUS
