The all-in-one dressing adapts well to the body and has a unique adhesive ability. The new generation of flexible dressings does not peel off and has a unique adaptability: caregivers save time, controllers save costs and patients gain quality of life. Mepilex Border Flex has superior conformability compared to other adhesive foam dressings tested due to its unique flex technology. A dressing that follows the patient's movements and does not come off even in the shower .
Practical exudate management
The dressing with 5 layers absorbs and channels exudate, trapping it. This enables control of exudate progress. The layers channel exudate away from the wound bed and prevent reflux into the wound, even under a compression dressing. As a result, this dressing has up to 2.2 times the exudate absorption of other adhesive edge foam dressings tested and absorbs both normal and viscous exudate.
Less pain and wound and skin damage
Proven Safetac technology provides less pain and wound and skin damage during dressing changes, plus less risk of maceration than traditional (self-adherent) dressings.
