Buy METHOCEL solution 2% (3x10g)

Methocel® is a highly viscous, colorless and transparent solution of hypromellose, which is isotonic to tear fluid. A very pure grade of hypromellose is used in its manufacture to ensure consistent viscosity. Methocel® is a contact fluid for use during examination (e.g.: gonioscopy or funduscopy) or treatment of the eye (e.g.: argon laser trabeculoplasty) using contact lenses.

Application

Now you need to use the contact grey lenses and have some of the disinfectants used. Apply 1-2 drops on the concave part of the contact glass and use it on the eye in the usual way. When you remove the contact lens, tend to take the angle of the lens to avoid possible suction. The eye should then be examined with a slit lamp for epithelial integrity. The use of contact glasses is recommended only for trained ophthalmologists.

Important notes

• Please note that you can choose between rotation and swelling of the conjunctiva after using contact glasses wetted with Methocel.
• Please note that additional packaging may be supplied later. May only be used within 3 months after first opening.
• Replace the cap after use. Protect from light by placing back in the outer carton.
• Use of Methocel is simplified if the bottle is stored upside down using the stand cap.
