Visco Vision eye gel is a tear substitute with the active ingredient carbomer. Wetting high-viscosity eye gel, soothing and long-lasting. Visco Vision eye gel forms a lubricating and protective film on the eye, which serves as a tear substitute.
Application
apply one drop of the gel to the affected eye(s) 3-4 times daily or as needed. Frequency of use depends on discomfort and relief achieved. Method of use: Wash hands thoroughly before use. Remove the safety ring before opening for the first time. Remove the cap from the tube. Place the head on the back of the neck and pull the lower eyelid down so that it forms a small pocket. Hold the tube vertically, with the opening facing down, and press lightly on the tube until a small drop forms at the tip of the tube. Place this drop in the eye without touching the eye with the tip of the tube. Blink two or three times to distribute the gel evenly over the eye, and wipe off any excess gel around the eyelids if necessary. Close the tube. Be careful not to touch anything with the tip of the tube (including your fingers).
Precautions
- For external use only.
- Do not use if the tube or the safety seal is damaged.
- Contact lenses should not be worn when applying the gel.
- Wait at least 30 minutes after application before reinserting contact lenses.
- Do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the tube to avoid injury to the eye and/or bacterial contamination of the gel.
- If eye discomfort persists while using Visco-Vision Gel or recurs after discontinuing the gel, consult a physician.
