Calogen can be processed in a variety of ways. The fat emulsion is based on vegetable fats and has a particularly high energy density (450 kcal per 100 ml). It is free of fiber, lactose, gluten and milk protein. Due to its particularly high energy density, Calogen is the ideal solution when energy requirements can no longer be met with normal nutrition or high-calorie drinkable food. This can be, for example, in the case of persistent loss of appetite or in the case of diseases that are associated with a greatly increased energy requirement.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, the recommended daily amount is 3 x 30 ml of Calogen per day. This dosage already provides you with an additional 405 kcal. Calogen is a food for special medical purposes and should only be used under the supervision of the attending physician.
