With a concentration of 0.5% sodium carboxymethyl-ceilulose (CMC) and 0.9% glycerol, Optive offers long-lasting relief from discomfort. Optive is preserved with Purite, the patented preservative technology from Allergan. Purite transforms into components of the natural tear film (NaCI, H20 and 02) on contact with light. Optive eye drops are therefore preserved in the bottle and unpreserved on the eye. The eye drops can be kept for six months after opening, which is particularly advantageous for patients who only occasionally suffer from dry eyes.

Application:

Usual dosage: Apply 1-2 drops to each eye as required. Suitable for contact lens wearers. Special dosage instructions: Simultaneous therapy with other eye drops: keep an application interval of at least 5 minutes.
