Greek mountain tea is a traditional herbal tea made from the obterrestrial plant parts (leaves, flower candles and stems) of Greek verbena and, like sage, belongs to the Familie of the Lamiacea (labiate family). The scent of Greek mountain tea in particular is reminiscent of sage, depending on the species. However, the fine, spicy, mild taste of the tea is not directly comparable to sage. In the Mediterranean region, the plant is mainly used to make tea.

Use

To prepare as a tea, pour boiling water over 1-2 teaspoons and leave to infuse for 5 minutes.
