The golden linseed is gently pressed into linseed oil, w obei the resulting press cake is ground into homogeneous flour. Linseed meal is low in fat and contains almost no carbohydrates, but is rich in fiber and protein. It is therefore an ideal ingredient for baking bread and baked goods. When using it, it should be noted that linseed flour swells very strongly when water is added.
