Schär Buy Baking Mix Streusel Cake gluten-free (450g)

The gluten-free baking mix for the classic at the cake table - crumble cake with the most delicious fillings that offer the season.

For the preparation you need:

• 2 eggs (size L)
• 180 g cold butter
• 2 apples
• Optional: 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Application

For a springform pan (Ø 24 cm)

• Preheat the oven to 180°C top and bottom heat
• Add the baking mix, eggs, butter and vanilla extract to the bowl. Knead with your hands until you have a crumbly dough.
• spread 2/3 of the dough in the springform pan lined with baking paper and press to form a 0.5cm high bottom. Form a rim about 2cm high.
• Spread the sliced apple pieces evenly on the bottom so that it is completely covered. Spread the remaining batter (1/3) evenly over the cake as a crumble.
• Bake for about 50 minutes on the bottom rack until the crumble is golden brown.
• Remove the crumble cake from the oven and let cool well.

Tip: the apples can be replaced with seasonal fruit (e.g. berries, plums or apricots) or jam.
