Diet pills and diet drinks - is the body lacking important nutrients?
The most important points in brief
- People are not always rational when it comes to weight loss and diets.
- We tend to refuse certain aids because they are supposedly not good for our organism - but is that always justified?
- It is pointed out for almost all products that the means alone are not the ultimate solution.
- The additional intake of vitamins and nutrients can't hurt.
We humans do not always tend to be rational, especially not when it comes to our own bodies. This is often the case when it comes to diet or weight loss. We like to talk about the fact that we already know what is good for us or what our own body needs. But are we always correct? That can be doubted - for example when it comes to diet pills and diet drinks.
Diet pills, diet drinks - what people often think about them
In large parts of the population there is a good deal of skepticism about these weight loss aids. Now, skepticism is certainly not the worst of all human characteristics, but there are now a lot of studies that suggest that pills and drinks can definitely help with a diet. To do this, you first have to consider what each means is doing. And that separately.
Certain diet pills bind the fats that we consume through normal diet, the body should not even absorb these fats. Other diet pills, on the other hand, curb the appetite because the ingredients of these pills swell up after consumption, thereby stifling the feeling of hunger. Drinks also suppress hunger, they are a full substitute for a complete meal. At the same time, the metabolism of the organism is stimulated.
The question of nutrients during a diet
Diet drinks (also available in the Kanela online shop) usually have the property that you do not have to eat anything, as they contain all trace elements, vitamins and minerals that the body needs during a diet. But it certainly doesn't hurt if you have fresh fruit every now and then in parallel to the drinks - there is no substitute for fresh vitamins. And although these drinks are now ingeniously prepared and have different flavors, it usually doesn't take long before you really feel like an apple or an orange.
Preparations that only aim to suppress the appetite can naturally neither supply the body with minerals nor vitamins. In return, they prevent us from resisting recurring food cravings by naturally fooling the body into believing it is full. This can be dangerous to health because in this case the organism is not supplied with the nutrients mentioned.
Ideally accompany diets with fruit
So if you use diet pills to lose weight, you should look to take the vitamins and minerals in a different way. As far as vitamins are concerned, fresh fruit is always a good choice, and it is certainly not wrong to take other dietary supplements (there is a large selection of these in the Kanela online shop). And to add variety to a diet that consists of weight loss drinks in terms of taste, fruits are certainly a good idea.
